Fun for the whole family.
The beach access is right across the road from Sunshine Cozy Cottages, so if you don't mind walking an extra 50 feet to the beach you will save about half the price of the other resorts.
Indian Rocks Beach is known as “Florida’s Safest Beach”
Indian Rocks Beach reputedly got its name from the pilgrimage of Indians who came to the area to bathe and drink the healing waters from the springs. These same artesian wells still run under the ground of Sunshine Cozy Cottages.
Legend has it that the land is protected by Indian spirits and that is why the beach is known as Florida’s safest beach.
